Yarema Hryciw

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Yarema Hryciw is an accomplished engineering leader with over 38 years of experience in semiconductor design, organizational development, and technology strategy. A graduate of Drexel University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, he began his career at the U.S. Naval Air Development Center and later co-founded Spectral Systems in Princeton, NJ. Yarema went on to hold key roles at Xicor, Cadence Design Systems, and Micron Quantum Devices, and currently serves as Director of EDA Strategy at Micron Technology, where he oversees design automation and enterprise engineering initiatives.

In addition to his professional achievements, Yarema has been an active community leader within the Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organization, serving at both the regional and national levels. Together with his wife of 37 years, Romana, he founded and directed the Ukrainian School at St. Volodymyr’s Mission in Santa Clara, California (2005–2015). He is also a performing member of the internationally recognized Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus of North America, reflecting his lifelong commitment to Ukrainian culture, education, and civic engagement.
