The Organization is the logical and structurally organized embodiment of the initial namesake initiative of the Ukraine-based Non-Governmental Organizations “Sustainable Development Landmarks” and “Center for Communication Research”. The specific purposes of the newly created US-based Nonprofit “Ukraine Matters” are to sustain and upscale the projects already being implemented worldwide (both online and offline) and on the ground in Ukraine, and to raise funds for increasing their social impact.

In terms of raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world, the Organization will continue organizing Conferences, Interviews, Roundtables, Webinars, Film Screenings, Cinematic Discussion Club Sessions, etc., and debunking the myths about Ukraine.

Providing humanitarian, medical, and psychological assistance to vulnerable populations, especially the IDPs, Ukrainian refugees, Russian-Ukrainian War veterans, families of fallen Heroes, etc. presupposes supporting various related institutions (supplying equipment and technologies, fostering partnerships, etc.) and providing medical assistance (dental, ophthalmological, gynecological, etc.). A special focus will also be placed on Ukraine’s education sector and supporting learners of all ages.

In terms of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction, we’ll align all our activities with sustainable development principles and will prioritize projects fostering pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

All the events will be orchestrated and implemented by the Organization and the volunteers of the above-mentioned Ukraine-based NGOs in partnership with numerous related stakeholders.
