Representing the worldwide Ukrainian diaspora across 80 countries at the United Nations for 15 years on behalf of the Ukrainian World Congress, for the past 10 years he has also served as the Director of Communications for the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America. More recently, Andrij was on the ground in Ukraine beginning in March 2022 and returned to participate in over 12 Humanitarian Aid missions throughout the course of the war, during which he established working relationships with local government officials as well as members of President Zelenskyy’s administration on behalf of American delegations. Andrij is a frequent speaker and consultant on issues such as Eastern European culture and identity, Catholic and Orthodox religious practices, and leadership and activism in a global world. Having been twice recognized in the United States as a “Master Artist of Ukrainian Arts,” Andrij has performed at venues such as CitiField, the Prudential Center, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, has been featured in numerous documentaries, and continues as cantor and choirmaster at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church in New York City.
