Vlad Skots
Vlad Skots is an American entrepreneur, civic leader, and philanthropist of Ukrainian origin. He immigrated to the United States in the spring of 2001, settling in Sacramento, California.
In 2006, Vlad founded USKO Inc., a trucking and logistics company that has since grown into one of the leading logistics networks in the United States. As of 2025, USKO generates more than $150 million in annual revenue, operates across the U.S., Mexico, Poland, and Ukraine, and employs over 150 full-time staff. Over the past two decades, the company has expanded beyond transportation into real estate, construction, and IT, establishing a diversified and resilient business ecosystem.
In 2024, USKO launched Motion TMS, an AI-powered mobile Transportation Management System designed for small and medium-sized carriers. The platform integrates dispatching, document management, financial operations, and compliance control, offering practical, intuitive tools optimized for the daily needs of drivers and dispatchers.
Beyond business, Vlad is an active civic leader, founder, and the longtime Co-Chair of the Ukrainian American House, an organization that has evolved into a major humanitarian, economic, and educational hub, strengthening U.S.-Ukraine relations. He is the co-founder and keynote speaker of the annual Freedom Means Business forum in Sacramento, which in 2025 brought together more than 180 government officials, diplomats, and business leaders from both countries.
