Ukraine Matters is proud to partner with the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Chess Federation in promoting intellectual development and community engagement through chess. In July 2024, we supported the Ukrainian Junior Chess Championship U-20 in Ivano-Frankivsk, bringing together Ukraine’s brightest young players to compete in classical, quick, and blitz formats.

Ukraine Matters is also honored to support the Ivano-Frankivsk Veterans Chess Tournament “CHESS ATTACK”, demonstrating how chess can support mental rehabilitation and community reintegration. This event will become an annual regular tournament, symbolizing our ongoing commitment to those who have bravely defended Ukraine.
